Here is the detailed run down of my experience with Ballpark Classics. GREAT INSTRUCTIONS: Poor instructions often lead to poor reviews. I like to look at the instructions of a product as an extension of manufacturer's customer service. "I need help putting this product together, so please give me something that makes perfect sense so I do not have to ask for help." I do not know what was better, the easy to follow and understand step by step written instructions, or the VERY clear visual pictures. Ballpark Classics met me at my level and made very clear the process of assembly. EASY ASSEMBLY I spread out all the neatly organized parts on the floor and began assembly, with the help of my 3 year old. EVERYTHING went together exactly as described.......the first time. My assembly time was just a touch over 20 minutes, but there was a part of me that did not want it to end. It was a fun process and made me feel just... It's been 10-months and the game still has a prominent spot on my living room table and we'll play a couple of games a week. The action is very realistic and everyone is learning about tracking balls and strikes and patience at the plate.The game arrived very well protected in custom double boxes and the fit and finish is excellent. I haven't noticed any significant wear on the parts (even though my 15-year old son tries to go downtown on every swing of the bat). It has appealed to all generations and even my non-baseball loving wife.
